Our auction proceeds go primarily towards providing clean water in foreign countries. We’ve raised over 50k in ten years building 7 water wells through Operation Blessings, a non profit based business out of Chesapeake Va. The remainder of the proceeds will be split between 3 other local charities! Every dollar will be put to use for various great causes.
As of 2023 the auction is now under the umbrella of the Virginia Beach Jaycees.

Bars who purchase sections of 8 or larger, or sponsor a well, are guaranteed to be featured stops during the Party Bus Bar Crawl on March 27th with the Bartenders & Winners! Terms: Section sponsors may invite people they expect will bid well on bartenders or resell these slots at no more than $100/pp to your team, regulars, friends, family, etc. to recover the section fee. We ask that any contributions made to your team/ section above and beyond the initial fee be passed along to the event fund raiser. We need your guest list by Mon. March 20th. Sponsors who buy sections of 8 or more people, that are not bars, may reserve 2 seats to join us on the Party Bus Bar Crawl with the Bartender’s & Winners the following Monday on March 27th 2023!
Bonus: Locals.Outside!, the sponsor of this year’s Humanitarian Awards, will also include recognition of each VIP Sponsor as a ”Locals. Favorite!” with a link to your website or social media on www.localsoutside.com through August.

Volunteer Bartender’s Terms: You’ll enter with a sponsorship from your place of work, check made out to the Virginia Beach Jaycees. The night of the 21st you’d arrive at Granby Theater dressed to impress to have dinner and enjoy the festivities. One hour of the night is dedicated to the auction, after dinner is served. You’ll be on stage for a short time while the crowd will bid to be your “date” during the celebration the following Monday. After that you take a picture with whom ever won your bid and go on about your night. This is not a 1:1 date for you and the person who won your bid, this is a group celebration. The following Monday the 27th we take all the winners and participants out on party buses to sponsored locations, so everyone can celebrate together. Drinks are served on the bus, cash bar at each location so show gratitude to those bars contributions to the fundraiser. The bartender who donates their time is not responsible for paying for anything. However, we do encourage you to have your regulars, friends, etc. buy tickets or VIP sections to the event so that they are able to bid on you to raise money for CHKD & Operation Blessings.
